Collateral-light

MSME term credit without mortgaging property — underwriting rests on GST, ITR, banking and bureau, not on a ‘no documents’ slogan.

Enterprise credit without mortgaging the house. Tickets are usually smaller and pricing higher than LAP. ‘Unsecured’ means no property, not no papers.

Overview

This is the product people mean when they say ‘business loan without property’. Pricing is typically higher because there is no mortgage. It is still enterprise credit: Udyam, GST and banking matter.

We still need a clear end-use — stock build, fit-out, equipment, or a defined payable. If the case fits CGTMSE-style cover, we discuss that separately rather than mixing two stories on one login.

Unsecured is not the same as informal. Lenders still read bureau, related entities and cash deposits. A clean GST file with matching credits is stronger than a large verbal turnover.

When property is available and the ticket is large, LAP or a hybrid structure may be cheaper. We say so upfront instead of forcing an unsecured label.

What this facility offers

  • No mortgage in a typical unsecured product
  • Shorter tenor than LAP — often 12–60 months
  • GST + banking + ITR driven underwriting
  • Useful for a defined, time-bound business need
  • Can be a bridge while a larger secured package is built
  • Promoter guarantee is common even without property

Unsecured is not undocumented

ITR, GST, bank PDFs, bureau. Promoter guarantee is common. The word unsecured means no property mortgage — not no questions.

When we push you to another page

If the need is standing stock, CC is healthier. If the ticket is large, LAP or machinery is the honest door. Unsecured is for a clean, documentable surplus and a use that fits a term EMI.

Bureau of every signatory

The word unsecured means no property mortgage. It does not mean no ITR, no GST, no bank PDF, and no promoter guarantee. Every director or partner’s bureau travels with the file. A clean company with a dirty promoter is still a dirty file.

Pricing is usually heavier than a mortgaged LAP for the same rupee. That is the trade: speed and no house versus ticket size. We say that before you compare a 24-month unsecured EMI to a 10-year LAP poster.

Unlike CGTMSE, there may be no guarantee cover. Unlike CC, this is not revolving DP. Unlike LAP, you trade ticket size for not mortgaging. ‘No income proof’ is not a product we sell.

Unsecured does not mean

  • No-GST cash loans
  • Seven-year plant finance at unsecured pricing as a rule
  • Scheme sticker as a magic skip

Surplus after EMIs, vintage, every signatory’s bureau

  • Banking surplus after existing EMIs
  • GST vintage
  • Bureau of all signatories

Term EMI when you will not mortgage the house

  • Stock or receivables without pledging the house
  • Small expansion or professional fit-out
  • Equipment that does not justify a full machinery package
  • Time-bound payable with documented repayment

Documented surplus, smaller ticket, shorter tenor

  • GST-regular MSMEs without surplus property to mortgage
  • Promoters who prefer a smaller clean ticket over a large LAP

Unsecured tests — banking, GST, bureau

  • Documented business income (GST / ITR as applicable)
  • Vintage as per lender (often 1–3 years)
  • Bureau within policy; no recent serious defaults
  • Clear end-use that fits a term EMI

ITR, GST, statements — no ‘no proof’ version

  • KYC of promoters and firm
  • GST returns and certificate
  • ITR and financials as asked
  • Bank statements (typically 6–12 months)
  • Udyam registration

Ticket vs LAP vs CC is mapped first

Typical desk timeline: 2–4 weeks on strong cash-flow files

  1. 1

    Login and share your brief

Create your MSME desk account or log in. Tell us city, Udyam band, turnover range and the purpose of funds in one clear sentence. Consent is recorded before any lender share.

  2. 2

Unsecured vs CGTMSE vs LAP routing

No property does not mean no papers. We check whether collateral-light guarantee cover or a smaller unsecured ticket is the realistic path.

  3. 3

    Document checklist and vault upload

Promoter KYC, Udyam, GST, banking and purpose papers are listed product-wise. You upload once to the vault; we tell you what is missing before the file goes to credit.

  4. 4

    Income and banking depth

GST, ITR and account turnover must support EMI. Thin vintage or cash-only sales are addressed before lender login.

  5. 5

    Lender login and credit processing

The file moves to a partner bank, NBFC or HFC that matches your profile. Queries on GST vs banking, end-use or security are coordinated with you — we do not promise sanction from this website.

  6. 6

    Sanction letter and agreement

If approved, you receive the lender’s sanction with rate, tenure, security and covenants in writing. Read processing, insurance and prepayment clauses before signing — they vary by institution.

  7. 7

    Disbursal and promoter guarantee

Personal guarantee is standard. Rate and tenure reflect unsecured risk — not poster rates from aggregators.

Unsecured MSME term — not a cash-loan FAQ

No documents at all?+

No. Unsecured means no property mortgage, not no papers. GST, banking and KYC are still required.

Is the rate lower than LAP?+

Usually not. Without collateral, pricing is typically higher. LAP can be cheaper for larger tickets when title is clean.

Can I take this and a CC together?+

Often yes, if overall exposure and cash flow support both. We map the mix so EMI and OD do not choke each other.

CGTMSE and PMEGP are other architectures

Figures are indicative. Not an offer. Sanction, rate and security rest with the bank, NBFC or HFC. Scheme names are not a website promise.
